Hi Allison, Appreciate your comment although I have to confess I'm not up on politics in general (affect of having grown up in DC?) and also recently relocated to countryside (Roseboom), although still have home and office on Chestnut St.
My recommendation would be to keep lines of communication opened by mayoral race active by blogging and twittering --- these media provide voice, are empowering and at the very least would be a "think tank" for ideas for those in office to consider.
If you know of blogs or people who Twitter about Oneonta, please let me know and I will link them from our page.

I think this is a great effort but we need to clean up our city hall before we can really put Oneonta on the map. Kim Muller, Nader, Miller, and our common council have had numerous back door dealings that take our tax money and put it into their pockets. They continue to pass unlawful legislation and Ms. Muller now think she has enough clout to harass the student who ran for mayor by claiming she is afraid for her life...Please, let's build up or economy by having a real straight forward and honest government that actually cares about its people.

We love our new old home; it's a dream come true, especially because it doesn't need work. The church is for storage at the moment, but I am Clutterbusting (great book from the Huntington Library is helping me) so a real Open House will have to wait until spring. I wish I were quicker and more decisive about things, but in time the reason for the church will be apparent. For now, just the drive out here clears my mind and I wake up feeling as if I am living in a painting:) I do miss the energy and things to do in Oneonta.

Hi Mary! I hope you are enjoying being the owner of such a lovely little chapel (I still think you ought to do weddings). Anyway, just thought I'd say hi and thank you again for this truly awesome website.
Sincerely,
Amy

We hope piano teachers hear about our site and use our automated add your business button. If they wish, they may check the box whereby their address will not appear in public, and they still can leave a phone number, website, or e-mail. That feature is available for all businesses, and especially for home businesses who would like customers to call before stopping by.
